»  CAN I SEE PRICES AND PROCUCTS WITHOUT REGISTERING?

Unfortunately not. Because the site is for re-sellers only, European Union (EU) VAT regulations require every buyer or potential buyer to be registered. This is the only way we know which buyers are subject to VAT exemption, and which are not. Click on the “Registration” tab on the home page to start the registration process.

 

»  WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE REGISTRATION?

Your company name, address, contact information, EU VAT number, name of the company owner and also the person authorized to place orders on behalf of the company. There may also be a few questions about the company background and ordering preferences.

NB: If you market your product under a trade name or website name that is different from the name of the incorporated company that has the registered EU VAT number, the company name indicated on the registration form should be that of the incorporated company, and NOT the trade name or website name.

 

»  I HAVE LOST MY PASSWORD. HOW DO I GET A NEW PASSWORD?

 To request a new password, click on the “PROFILE” tab in the top left corner. This will open a new page “LOGIN/REGISTRATION” where you will be able to login to your account or if you have forgotten your password you can request a new one by clicking on the highlighted sentence “I FORGOT MY PASSWORD”. A new window will pop-up “PASSWORD REMINDER” where you must enter the e-mail address you normally use to log in and click send. A new password will be sent to your e-mail. It is advised to change this new password the next time you log in.

 

»  WHAT IS THAT EU VAT NUMBER?

When a product is purchased in the EU, it is subject to a sales tax known as value-added tax (VAT). If a company intends to re-sell the product, they can get an exemption from paying the VAT on purchases. In order to do this, the company must apply for, and obtain an EU VAT number from the local tax office. This identifies the company as a VAT exempt re-seller to the relevant tax authorities.

 

»  CAN I REGISTER AND PURCHASE WITHOUT AN EU VAT NUMBER?

Yes you can, but without a valid EU VAT number, you must pay the applicable VAT on the value of your purchase. This amount will be added to your invoice. In our case the Hungarian VAT is 27%.

 

»  IF I DON’T HAVE A COMPANY, CAN I PURCHASE AS A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL?

Unfortunately not. Because the site is for re-sellers only, you must have an incorporated company to make a  purchase.

 

»  ARE THERE ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BEFORE I CAN MAKE AN ORDER?

Yes. Prior to processing your first order, you must submit by e-mail to (office@nutritiontrader.eu), a clean PDF facsimile of your company REGISTER that is no older than six (6) months. The company documents must show the name of the person authorized to act on behalf of the company. 

To prevent tax fraud, EU VAT regulations require us to obtain and verify this data. You have to submit this information only once, at the time you place your first order. Nutrition Trader keeps this information in the highest confidence, and does not share this information with any third parties whatsoever.

 

»  HOW CAN I CHANGE MY COMPANY DETAILS?

To change your company details, log in to your account and click on the “CHANGE CUSTOMER DETAILS” tab. This will bring up your current registered details. Simply amend the required details and click on the “MODIFICATION” button which can be found in the bottom right corner.

 

Please note that some of your company data like e-mail address is not permitted to be changed online. If you need to change this information, please contact your Nutrition Trader contact person.

 

»  HOW CAN I REGISTER WITH AN EU VAT NUMBER IF MY COMPANY IS NOT IN THE EU?

You can register and make an order if your company is not in the EU. At the time of registering, enter your company’s domestic tax identification number in the field for EU VAT number.

 

»  IF MY COMPANY IS NOT IN THE EU, DO I HAVE TO PAY TAX ON MY PURCHASE?

If the product is being exported from the EU, it may be EU VAT exempt, but we are required to collect VAT on the purchase, and then we refund this amount to the customer once we receive documentary proof of export.

At the time of shipping, the product will be accompanied by an EU Export Clearance document. This document must be signed and stamped (ie: executed) by Customs officials at the EU point of exit and returned to Nutrition Trader by the customer. Once we receive this properly executed document, then we will refund the VAT paid on the purchase. The customer has the option of receiving the VAT refund as a wire to their designated bank account, or using the amount as a credit against future purchases.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure this document is returned to Nutrition Trader in a timely fashion. If we do not receive the properly executed export clearance document, Nutrition Trader cannot refund the VAT to the buyer.

 

»  ASIDE FROM EXPORT CLEARANCE DOCUMENT, ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPPING TO NON-EU BUYERS?

All requirements and responsibilities within the buyer’s country for import clearance, import taxes and duties, sanitary testing, health permits, marketing and distribution permits, and business licenses lies solely with the buyer. If you are a non-EU buyer, please ensure that you research the situation in your country thoroughly, and are prepared BEFORE you place your order, as Nutrition Trader cannot be responsible if the buyer fails to receive a paid order because of customs and/or regulatory problems within the destination country.

 

»  I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED MY ORDER, IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TO MAKE CHANGES?

If you have already sent your final order it is not possible to change it. If you need to add extra products you can just log in and create a new order. Removing a product from an already submitted order is not possible.

 

»  WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY PRODUCTS?

NUTRITION TRADER works with a pre-payment system which means that all orders have to be paid in advance. As soon as we have received your payment  then we will confirm receipt and  contact you if necessary regarding any special requests or if you have chosen any special transportation.

 

»  CAN I PAY FOR MY PURCHASE WITH CASH, CHEQUE, CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, OR PAYPAL?

No. At this time, Nutrition Trader only accepts payment by bank wire. Buyers may be able to collect the order but the payment must be completed in advance.

 

»  CAN I PAY FOR MY PURCHASE IN ANOTHER CURRENCY OTHER THAN EURO?

No. At this time, Nutrition Trader can only accept payment in EUR.

 

»  I HAVE SENT MY PAYMENT FOR AN ORDER. HOW LONG BEFORE I RECEIVE MY PRODUCT?

Once your payment is received, than then we do our best to prepare and ship your order immediately, but delays can be caused by other factors. Sometimes bank wires can take several business days to show up in the recipient account. Weekends and holidays can delay this further. The transport company may have some delays for processing of paperwork.

If the shipment is destined for outside the EU, delivery times can vary depending on the location, size of the order, mode of delivery.

»  CAN THE SHIPPING ADDRESS BE DIFFERENT THAN THE BILLING ADDRESS?

Yes. When you check-out, you can add a shipping address for the order. This address does NOT have to match the billing address.

 

»  WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS?

There are several shipping options:

1. Customers are welcome to arrange and pay for their own shipping. Please contact with us to arrange the pick-up with your transport company. In this case we recommend that choose the “Pick up by own cargo partner” shipping method.


2. If you wish us to make the shipping arrangements, we will do so and the cost will be
added to your invoice. In this case:

  • If your order is less than 300 Kg’s, it will be sent by our contracted courier partners (DPD, GLS and UPS), for an approximate cost, please check our supplied chart in the “CUSTOMER SUPPORT” section under the “SHIPPING” subpage where you can find all necessary details. In this case we recommend that you choose the “DPD, GLS or UPS” shipping method.

 

  • If your order is in excess of 300 Kg’s, the shipping cost will vary depending on the size of the order and the destination. We will send you a shipping quotation prior to completing your order, so you can decide if you want to use our shipping, or arrange your own. In this case we recommend that you choose the “Agreed transportation” shipping method.

 

  • For orders outside of the EU, and for overseas orders, the shipping cost will vary depending on the size of the order, the destination, and the mode (air, surface, courier, postal). In this case contact us for a quotation and to make shipping arrangements. In this case we recommend that you choose the “Pick up by own cargo partner” shipping method.

 

»  WHAT IS NUTRITION TRADER’S RETURN POLICY IF I RECEIVED A DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IN MY ORDER?

We value your business, so customer satisfaction is important to us. If there is a problem with your order, or you are not satisfied with your product for any reason, please see our return policy in the “TERMS AND CONDITIONS” section under the “CUSTOMER SUPPORT” tab but you can contact us any time to discuss any problems.

 

»  IS NUTRITION TRADER ABLE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PRODUCTS IN MY ORDER?

Contrary to what many buyers believe, there is, no readily-available, standard set of documents for products. Nutrition Trader uses its best efforts to provide whatever document support may be required by individual customers, but the document support is not exhaustive, and it varies greatly depending on the brand and the country requirements. As such, Nutrition Trader can make no specific representations or guarantees regarding documents. It is best to discuss your document requirements with us at the time of placing your order.

 

»  CAN I GET FREE SAMPLES WITH MY ORDER?

We always try to include samples with every order. However, we are depending on our brands to supply us with adequate amount of samples. Some brands do sample heavily, while others don’t. Samples are always free of charge unless stated otherwise.

 

»  WHAT ARE YOUR TAXES AND CUSTOMS?

Our company only deals with custom cleared products so there will be, no additional custom fees. When your company places an order on our webstore and your company has a valid VAT number than you will also not pay any VAT fees. Normal VAT % on supplements in Hungary is 27%.

 

»  HOW LONG ARE EXPIRATION DATES ON YOUR PRODUCTS?

Expiration dates always vary depending on the nature of the product but normally we strive to ensure that it is over 1 year.
